The first transfer was from Civitavecchia cruise port to Assisi with stop and n Orvieto and the second one was from Assisi back to Rome with a stop in Spello. We booked and utilized Transfers Rome twice in August 2025. The first was for a transfer from Civitavecchia Cruise Port to The Tribune Hotel in Rome. The second was for a transfer from the hotel to the FCO airport. The booking process was simple and coordinated/confirmed through e-mail. No deposit was required in advance and payment was made directly to the driver in cash (Euro). The driver and vehicle were the same for both trips. The gentleman that picked us up was punctual, courteous and kind. He was born in and has lived in Rome his whole life and spoke excellent English. He provided cold water bottles for our family and highlighted points of interest along the way. The van was a newer model Mercedes and was in excellent and exceptionally clean condition. We used Transfers Rome for transport from Rome to Portofino with a return trip a week later. Travelling with both children & elderly parents (one in a wheelchair) plus associated bags, wheelchairs, etc is not easy however it was a pleasure with this company. The car was impeccably clean, always on time & as described. I could not speak more highly of our driver "Alessio". His communication was very good (via WhatsApp), he was punctual & extremely helpful with all our luggage particularly given a difficult to find location with challenging access....nothing was too much trouble & he always had a smile for everyone.
